Designer Biography

New York based Lolabean was created in 2005 by former graphic designer, Tiffany Bean. While studying at Parsons School of Design, she found herself sketching pages of necklaces rather than the task at hand. She soon shifted her focus to jewelry design and launched her first complete collection in 2007.

Her jewelry line, Lolabean, is influenced by her urban lifestyle. Having grown up in the countryside, she finds interest in the coexistence of nature and the concrete vertical landscape she dwells in. Walking the city streets, people watching in cafes to sketching in Central Park, there is a constant source of inspiration for her next collection. Her jewelry basically reflects the way she lives her life in the city. As a result, her jewelry is urban with elements of nature throughout. Lolabean is inspired by the life and pulse of New York City.

I am currently working with an amazing web designer and photographer to create a new website. The new site will be available in Fall of 2008. It will preview my handmade jewelry - all new designs and some old faithfuls.
